Director, Communications

Minita leads Communications for Fidelity International in India. In her role, she is responsible for both external and internal communications and contributes to the India site level agenda. She is also part of its CSR governance.  

Minita is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience. Across this time, she has led communications for some of the most valuable brands viz. Nokia phones, Hike Messenger, Adobe, HERE by Nokia, Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology) and now Fidelity International. She has led companies through high visibility campaigns bringing impressive results for businesses. She has also led communications for many crucial change initiatives such as acquisitions and re-branding, as well as led communications across APAC, playing an advisory role on plans, issues and crises. She has led Corporate Social Responsibility functions through her stints and has experience setting up a CSR function in line with the Companies Act of India.  

Minita is active speaking in various industry discussions. She was chosen a Changemaker in Change.org’s first ambassador programme in 2017 (now called Nguvu Collective). She has been a jury member for the elite Economic Times - Brand Equity 2020 Kaleido Awards in its first two years. 

Giving voice and power to brands, making them relevant to people and the world, through communications is what drives Minita. She believes that communications efforts should drive the vision of the brand, connecting it to what really matters, i.e., business and customers, in the context of the rapidly changing needs of the world of today and the future.
