Nitin Sharma

Nitin has more than 22 years of varied experience in the capital markets as an analyst, portfolio manager, and research team builder and leader.  He has been with Fidelity International for more than 14 years. 

Nitin heads the research function spread between Gurgaon and Dalian (China), looking after a ~100-member team working across regions and asset classes, encompassing a full range of fundamental research and a broad data capability. Under his leadership, this team has emerged as a key enabler for consistent, high-quality research output and differentiated insights for our funds. 

Nitin is a member of Fidelity International’s Global Directors of Equities team and has a broad view of the global macroeconomic landscape as well as capital markets.

Nitin started his career with Unit Trust of India (UTI) as an equity analyst in Mumbai. He subsequently held senior analyst, portfolio manager and research team leader roles in the industry before joining Fidelity International. 

He did his Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and completed his MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, majoring in Finance.
